For our good client NewCold in Breda, we are looking for a Manager SSC Accounting who likes to be part of a dynamic finance team and who is involved in the business. Due to the international growth and the ongoing business expansion in Europe, Australia and the USA, it is important that you are capable to adapt to changing environments and that you are fluent in English.

Job Description:

The Manager SSC Accounting is responsible for the daily management of the SSC Accounting and the further professionalization and development of its employees and services. You are a member of the Finance team and report directly to the Financial Controller. Other tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Manging a team of 6 FTE;
  • Organizing and developing the SSC Accounting department in a way that it can provide qualitative service to keep up with the growth of the company;
  • Setting up accounting services for new business;
  • Creating work processes, performing year-end reviews, setting up development plans and KPI’s for you team;
  • Optimizing the periodical reporting process;
  • Manage reporting for the Holding in the Netherlands.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a bachelor or master degree in accounting or business economics;
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience (preferably within an international organisation);
  • Able to motivate a team and communicate easily with staff and the board members;
  • Your English is fluent;
  • Willing to occasionally travel abroad;
  • Fulltime availability.

NewCold is the integrated service provider for cold chain logistics. They continuously try to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply chain. They do this by developing, engineering and realizing advanced cold storages that are tailor-made for their clients. They are very ambitious in their plans of global business expansion. These ambitions are supported by NewCold’s major shareholder NewCold Holdings LLC, which is financially supported by a successful American private equity firm.

Globally NewCold has over 720 employees and a revenue of around € 120 million. From these 720, 55 work at the SSC in Breda. The SSC is located near Breda Central Station and takes care of the transactional accounting and record to report activities for all businesses of NewCold.
